The Attack on Public Education: Privatization and the Agencies Fostering It

The political and economic attack on public education is escalating under agencies called the FCMAT (Fiscal Crisis and Management Assistance Team) and ACCJC (Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior College). These entities have no real oversight and have been used to attack urban school districts and push charters and privatization throughout the state.
