This labor forum will present a class struggle analysis of one of the most significant union battles in recent history. Like the militant struggles of during the Great Depression, it began with a rebellion against the union leadership which was reluctant to fight the employers\u2019 aggressive attacks on the union. The members of the union were left to their own to defend the union. ILWU Local 10 was the first union to come to their defense.<\/p>\n
