Brave New World, Labor Confronts AI

This year’s LaborFest comes at momentous time for unions and all working people. We are in the largest strike wave in decades, and this summer, hundreds of thousands of UPS Teamsters maybe joining the picket lines. We also face a an existential crisis with AI artificial inteligence as the striking writers have said, and the thousands of San Francisco taxi workers along with UBER & Lyft drivers may have their jobs wiped out with the introduction of robot cars. The massive and fast introduction technology threatens 300 million jobs around the world, and labor needs to confront the threat to all workers.
