Directed by Joon-Hwan Jang (Korea)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The mass mobilization of millions of Korean workers and people to remove the reactionary corrupt government of Park Geun-hye last year was a victory for not just the Korean people but also people throughout the world. The Korean Confederation of Union (KCTU) played a critical role in helping to support and build this movement.<br \/>\nThis dramatic film tells the story of the mass June democracy movement in 1987, when students began to protest the military government, and student activist Park Jong-chul was murdered by the police followed by a cover-up. The mobilization of the people in Korea eventually removed the military government.
