Joseph Blum is one of the leading national photographers of building trades workers and their talent and skills. Over decades, he has covered the building of the Eastern span of the SF Bay Bridge, and his latest work is the construction of the Salesforce skyscraper. These workers are on top of the world and their training and union power keeps them safe as they do their job.
